Circa 1850 'Belgravia' White Painted Wooden Dolls' Town House, from the Vivian Green Collection, with an Italianate facade of pillars and shaped windows, with two front opening doors, enclosing six rooms over three floors with central staircase, papered and carpeted with curtains hung to the windows, fully furnished with Walterhausen furniture, twelve bisque and china head dolls, including children, babies and other modern figures, accessories including pictures, clocks, rugs, china, metalwares etc, 112cm by 86cm by 47cmProvenance: Belgravia was from the collection of the late Vivien Greene, regarded as one of the world's foremost experts on dolls' houses. Vivien bought it during WWII in 1944, it was known as a commercial dolls' house, a box back typical of those made in London during that time. £4000 - 5000
