A bracelet, by Oscar Gundlach-Pedersen for Georg Jensen, circa 1945 Of alternating geometric design linking, signed Georg Jensen, pattern 48, length 18.2cm £200-£300 Oscar Gundlach-Pedersen (Danish, 1886-1960) is most famous for architectural accomplishments designing a number of important building in Denmark. The son of a grocer, he quickly distinguished himself and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture. From 1927-1931 he was Director at Georg Jensen where he designed both flatware, holloware and jewellery.

A silver 'Lamellae' dress ring, by Zaha Hadid for Georg Jensen The curved silver plaque of tapered linear design, to a shaped hoop, signed Zaha Hadid and Georg Jensen, numbered, UK hallmark, ring size L, maker's case £250-£350 Dame Zaha Mohammad Hadid DBE RA (1950-2016) was an Iraqi-British architect, dubbed "The Queen of the Curve" by The Guardian for redefining the way we view architectural geometry. In 2004 she became the first woman to receive the Pritzher Architecture Prize. In addition, she won the Stirling Prize in 2010 and 2011 and was the first and only woman to date to be awarded the Royal Gold Medal from the Royal Institute of British Architects. Major examples of her architectural work include the London 2012 Olympic Aquatic Centre, the Guangzhou Opera House in China and the Heydar Aliyev Centre in Baku. Just before her death in March 2016, her collaboration with Georg Jensen was unveiled at Baselworld. She also designed a site-specific sculptural installation at the fair to act as an extension of the jewellery collection. At the time of her death she was widely regarded to be the greatest female architect in the world.
