Walker & Holtzapffel (W&H) O Gauge special order 2-10-0 Loco and Tender BR black Class 9F No.92029, 3-rail Electric. This is a crosti boiler version of the 9F Locomotive. This locomotive was ordered specially from W&H in the late 1950's by the vendors uncle. This is finished in plain black and with running 92029 to cab sides and British Railways transfer to tender sides. This locomotives represented the BR Standard Class 9F produced by British Railways with 10 of these being built with the crosti boilers and No.92029 was the last one. An interesting loco, commercially made in the Bassett-Lowke or similar style. 2-piece display all brass track, Excellent. £3000-£5000 |
