Antonin Mercie (French, 1854-1916) Bronze of David and Goliath: An impressive late 19th Century bronze study of the victorious David, the young hero portrayed lifting the vast sword of Goliath into its oversized scabbard, his foot still perched on the giant's eye, signed A Mercié, inscribed 'F Barbedienne Fondeur' and with the Collas Mechanique pastille, David Vainqueur also known as David After the Combat earned Mercié a First Class Medal and the Croix de la Légion d'Honneur, the only artist to receive it whilst still a student. A casting was commissioned by the French State and exhibited at the 1873 World Exhibition. An example of this inspirational work is today to be found in the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, H 74cm £3000-5000

A Louis Vuitton Cigar Trunk/Humidor: A Louis Vuitton humidor trunk capable of holding 1000 cigars. The 'Malle Cigares' is based on the classic 1926 Stowkowski trunk. The hinged doors open to reveal a stunning marquetry-inlaid removable humidor and a fully fitted interior, comprising two small drawers for cutters and accessories, above a further nine humidified drawers graduating in size. All the drawers are cedar lined with divisions and drawer fronts in lacquered rosewood with leather and brass pulls. The lid of the trunk is lined with suede and the exterior is covered in Louis Vuitton's iconic famed monogram canvas with brass trim and side carrying handles in leather. £20000-25000

A Rare Ge Type Chinese Vase: Impressed seal mark & period of Yongzheng (1723-1735), the lobed neck above a handsome wide body covered in a thick glaze of even greyish-green tone, with an attractive grey wire crackle interlaced with a warm light yellow colour wire design. H 30cm D 25cm £800-1200

An 18th Century Chinese Blue and White Longevity Vase: The bulbous body finely decorated with a motif of a bird perching on a flowering peony branch and a motif of deer and crane by a pine tree, accompanied by peonies and lingzhi, all between a ruyi border at the top and a lappets border at the bottom. The shoulders decorated with two bands of delicately flowing motifs of flowers (including chrysanthemums) with leafy scrolls and foamy waves respectively. The long tubular and slightly flaring neck further embellished with bats amidst clouds between stiff leaves at the top and a key-fret band at the bottom.
