Kobe or Nigyo Japanese finely carved Wooden Toy representing a Rickshaw with man and woman passengers. Both have grotesque faces with protruding tongues and eyes. The man holds a drumstick and a bone mallet. The women has a drumstick and a fan. When rolled along, the figures extend their necks, the man beats a drum with the mallet and the woman beats it with her drumstick. Length 6.25"/16cm. In full working order. Possible old repair to wooden crank under base but generally a Good Plus example. £150-£200
