  Seven square tiles each decorated with a Chinoiserie figure including figures such as Liyan, Hanxin, Zuiweng, Jiping, etc, and signatures on the creamy ground, all variously bearing numerals verso, 13.5cm square; together with a letter from Phillips relating to this lot.

Possibly manufactured by The Poole Pottery or produced using Poole blanks, the letter suggesting the tiles have been decorated in the Japanese manner but not necessarily by an Oriental artist. The tiles are thought to be part of a selection made in 1910 for the Dorchester Hotel, London £100 - 150
