Click to view full image... A PORCELAIN AND GOLD MOUNTED DIPLOMAT'S CANE.
The spherical knop has fluted swirling lines and flower decoration and is capped with a circular gold disc with scalloped edge and incised Brazilian coat of arms, the snake wood shaft with gold cup collar incised with a crown and '2nd April 1803' and brass ferrule, 92cm long.

The top being a two sided oval mirror in silver frame, with long upright stem with ivory cushion washer on the elegant partridge wood shaft, that has a secondary silver buckle collar and terminates with a brass and iron ferrule, 106cm long.
