The 18ct gold faceted 'Milord' knop has an integral collar on sectional black coral shaft with brass ferrule, 91cm. A rubbed mark on the collar could be Viennese. (Black coral is the rarest and most favoured of organic walking cane shafts, it grows exceedingly slowly in deep water).

The knop carved with a seated pug dog on a cushion with pompoms, the 'royal' canine has glass eyes, a silver belled collar and is seated above a 'vacant' silver shield, the shaft has brass tip, 91cm long.
(The pug dog breed was also the insignia of the MOPS, this was a society founded after the Pope outlawed Free-Masonry. It gave members social benefits without affecting the Catholic Church).
