  General Duty: 1887 and 1888, printers record book pages, the former showing impressions of 8d., 1/3d. and £5 designs in red, each overprinted "specimen" type 9, ink manuscript note at foot, the latter with six embossed designs (all different, no values expressed) in pink, red or blue, each with "cancelled/stamp" overprint in black, the page with ink manuscript "Miscellaneous/Not actually defining the amount of duty" at left; light folds clear of the impressions in no way detracting from the wonderful appearance. Also 1886 and 1887 (2) letters written between De La Rue and the Inland Revenue dealing with the provision of printing samples for the printer's record book £150-200
