A Royal Flying Corps Honours board formed from a World War I propeller blade - formerly of "56 Squadron Royal Flying Corps", the laminated hardwood propeller being brass bound to one edge with rivets, and hand painted "The Honours of 56 Squadron Royal Flying Corps, 56 Squadron was responsible for shooting down over four hundred enemy aircraft in the six months ending September 1917", further decorated with the squadron badge over which is written "Captain Ball VC, D.S.O., M.C" and "Captain J. B. McCuddon VC, D.S.O., M.C". The script also describes in detail the legend of the "Beautiful Pink Lady", a famed German female air ace of World War I, 12ins wide x 49ins high
