*These items were designed by R D Russell (Gordon's brother) in 1935, and were originally made in Bombay Rosewood with Elm lines, and the handles made from Birmabright Rustless metal. *This settee descended through the Gimson family until the 1980's, when it was given to Sir Anthony Denny Bt, who lived at Daneway House in the late 20thc, and subsequently at the Priest's House, Muchelney.
