O gauge battery operated set comprising: 2546 tank engine in green with detailed tin printing and darker green side tanks and bunker; 2x red and cream Pullman bogie coaches (one holds the batteries); 6x curved and 2x straight pieces of tinplate track; and instruction sheet. Length of loco 6.25"/16cm. One coach roof repainted. Loco lacks connecting leads to battery coach, otherwise Good Plus in a Good card box with attractive illustrated "period" label to lid. British Marx (Dudley) E-25 Cast Iron Locomotive with 2x Pullman Coaches . Pre-war O gauge clockwork cast iron locomotive in red. Clockwork mechanism needs attention. Length 6"/15cm. The coaches, which were included in the cast iron locomotive set, are tin printed in red and cream with "Pullman" to sides. Good example of an early Marx locomotive for display. Station has some blemishes to front of platform and some rusting to rear but is Good Plus for display. Signals are generally Good to Good Plus. (Book 2 pages 137 & 139).
