Stuart D10 or similar vertical double cylinder Steam Engine. Mounted on a wooden base measuring 20"/15cm and standing 8cm tall, the wooden base has a drawer hinged to the front giving access to the underside of the engine. This appears to have originally been fitted for electrical power. The top of the wooden base has a brass plaque which states presented to Mr. RJ McDonald. Director General Production Royal Ordinance Factories at the apprentice prize giving at Patricroft 1978. Excellent. £150-£200
