Mettoy (UK) Two Storey County Fire Station No. 6258 with Hong Kong made plastic accessories. Impressive tinplate Fire Station with attractive bright detailed tinprinting. The two storey structure with 3 x spring loaded appliance room doors is supplied in rare flat packed form and appears never to have been assembled. Complete with a range of plastic fittings including work-bench, tables and chairs, staircase, TV aerial and fireman figures. The set contains 3 x individually boxed Hong Kong made plastic vehicles by NFIC to include Commer Fire Engine (copy of the Dinky model), Fire Chief's Car and a Karrier Ambulance. The vehicles are generally Mint including illustrated individual boxes. Width of Station 18"/46cm. Lacks printed card to make drill tower. The Station and contents are generally Mint, all in a Good (3 puncture holes to slightly grubby lid) cardboard box with assembly instruction sheet, internal packing and protective paper sheets. £100-£150

Comprising assorted bricks, wheels, windows, baseplates, trees , road signs, petrol pumps and other accessories, together with a number of HO scale vehicles including Breakdown Lorry, "Lego Transport" Pantechnicon, Fire Engine, Esso Tanker, motorcycle and sidecar and 3 x Volkswagen Beetles. Box size 20.5"/52cm x 16.5"/42cm. The set has been used and is unchecked for completeness but the contents are generally Good Plus, in a Good to Fair illustrated substantial presentation box (lid corners split and tape across top) which still has the fold-out printed cardboard roadway layout plan. Interesting souvenir of flying in the 1960's comprising a hard backed Junior Jet Club log book for recording flight details and the captain's signature, with an introduction by Captain N V Bristow and photographs of BOAC VC-10 and 707 airliners; a Junior Jet Club cast metal badge on its original backing sheet; a postcard of a Boeing 707 and an enrolment card. All in their original printed paper envelope. Some inscription on the rear of the envelope but the contents appear unused and are Near Mint. A rare find in this condition for an air transport enthusiast. £5-£15
