Of typical rectangular form with finely cast decoration depicting young people in the countryside playing instruments on the lid, with scrolls and garlands on the sides surrounding roundels containing musical instruments, over a hatched background. The sliding mechanism works to reveal a coloured bird popping up from the box as the lid lifts, which moves and chirps musically. In original presentation box. Diameter 10cm / 4".
