Karen was the daughter of a lady who worked as a wardrobe mistress at the old ATV television studios in Aston, Birmingham. She had personal contact with the stars appearing on the popular music TV show "Thank your Lucky Stars". She remembers approaching Paul McCartney and asking him for autographs of all 4 Beatles and for the card to be endorsed to her daughter. Moments later she went to his dressing room to collect it.
