  Album COMMONWEALTH (Photo) (plate 4) 1840/1936 collection in Ideal printed album which appears to have been a relatively basic used collection to which many better mint [and more used] items have been added, sometimes on extra pages. We note mint Somaliland 1921 set to 5r [some toning], Brunei 1906 to 10c, used Bushire surcharges to 10kr [cat £2200+] and a nice range of mint Canadian 'Small Heads' to 10c [3 shades], also used Jubilee 50c, 1897/8 and '30 sets etc. Cape of Good Hope incl 26 used 'triangles' [6 x 1d, 10 x 4d incl 4 pairs, 9 x 6d incl pair on piece and 2 x 1/-], mint Gibraltar to 8/-, used HK and India. There is also decent Iraq and Labuan, Br. Levant, Malta incl mint and used 1921 2/-, 1922 5/- u/m and 2/- used, strong Newfoundland, NZ, St. Lucia 1936 set, Seychelles 1890 to 96c [ex 4c] with Australian States and Malaysia running through. £3500-4250

The majority is GV to early QEII sets or singles, mint or fine used [a few QV] with nothing in the way of contentious material.
