Provenance: Tadeusz Dzierzykray-Rogalski (1910-1998) Collection, formed in Egypt in the 1960s-1970s. Prof Dzierzykray-Rogalski, together with his wife, the anthropologist Elzbieta Prominska (1941-1998), devolved their career to the study of ancient human remains and paleopathology, joining several expeditions to Egypt and Sudan with UNESCO, the Polish Centre of Mediterranean Archaeology and other prominent research institutions. Part of his work was published in 'The Bishops of Faras: an anthropological-medical study' in 1985.
