  Military Mail. 1915 (circa) stampless picture postcard from Malta (depicting the Grand Harbour interior) to Suffolk, with boxed "RECEIVED FROM H.M.SHIP/NO CHARGE TO BE RAISED" cachet, and faint violet circular censor h/s. Card with minor corner crease. Accompanied by a letter (1993) from The Forces Postal History Society secretary stating "Enclosed is a photocopy of a card bearing the same censor mark as yours. The endorsing officer Sub Lt. Rellie, was indeed serving with the Collingwood Batallion, so I think the mark-a scarce one- yours is the only other example I've seen-is specific to the Collingwood Batallion". The aforementioned photocopy is included with the lot. The Collingwood Battalion served in Gallipoli. Also 10 other picture postcards circa WWI from France, chiefly to England, mainly with censor cachet, and Army/Field PO cds. (R) £60
