Paul Chancellor
SHE-4PO aka Huntress is the brain child of Paul Chancellor, a local artist.
SHE-4PO is a 'junk sculpture', the third of its kind after CRUSH-DA and R2-JUNK2 created using reclaimed materials and upcycling them to produce a truly one of a kind contemporary piece of art.
Paul took his inspiration from the concept of a self inspired female bounty hunter character and SHE-4P0 was born. Concept and construction of a future three sculptures are now underway. The first symbolising a day in the life of a child and age of technology, through which, the true essence of childhood will be reflected and portrayed.
Paul believes in the art of up-cycling, the ability to develop and create from discarded materials found in everyday living. Using his knowledge gained from fifteen years as a graphic designer and childhood hands on experience picked up from watching his father, an engineer working wood to make toys Paul has been able to combine art, fantasy and his sons demands to make a robot resulting in the creation of his 'Junk Sculptures'.
