  "The Cust's Star-Finder" - An early 20th Century 6ins diameter celestial globe with composition body and printed gauzes showing positions of stars in various constellations, mounted on brass azimuth ring and on turned walnut stand, the flanged rim with paper gauzes and on three turned supports with conforming stretchers, 10.5ins high (glass cracked and damage to top and base around centre pin and rubbed at joints - stand open at joints and loose and generally scuffed and damaged), and with black and white photograph of Admiral Herbert Edward Purey-Cust (1855-1938), Hydrographer to the Navy and produced the "Star-Finder" globe, the three quarters length photograph showing him in full Naval uniform, 7.5ins x 5.5ins, signed and dated 1919, in gilt metal easel pattern frame, and his gilt brass cased pocket barometer by Dixey, New Bond Street, London with silvered dial, 2ins diameter inscribed Herbert Edward Purey-Cust R.N. from M.A. 1870, in maroon leather travelling case £500-700
