  Album 1856 Large Crown P14 1d red collection of pl 49/52 from SG 40 group, neatly written up in 3 albums. There are 238 covers incl some with spoon cancels [noted Ballymoney and Shrewsbury mourning cover], also fine Lochwinnoch Scots local. A fine range of 500 or so stamps with an excellent range of shades and postmarks, better on piece incl the better Oswestry and Kidderminster spoons, plus the Rugby 'shoe'. Very fine. £800-950

  Album 1840/87 used collection in Godden album with good, solid content. We note 4 x 1d black [2 are 4 margin], 3 x 1840 2d blue [2 are poor], a range of imperf 1d reds [incl inverted wmk], 10 x 1841 2d, some 1d 'stars' and plates [most] to 222 [noted pl 159 in mint block of 4]. Also 10d and 6d Embossed and a decent run of surface printed mostly in fine condition incl SG 69, 72/3, 77, 86, 90, 111 and 183. £800-950

  Album 1791/1890 collection of covers in large Philatelic album. There are 12 pre stamp covers incl 1827 from Sidcott School to Cornwall, 1791 to London, 2 with nice 'Bishop' marks etc, a group of Mulready envelopes or lettersheets with 3 used 1d, mint 1d and mint 2d [most with faults] and 3 x 1d black covers [2 are 4 margin]. 30 or so 1d red imperf covers [with some on piece] and 27 1d red 'stars' plus 13 1d red plates, 2d blue pl 7 and 2 x ½d covers. Finally, a few surface printed incl 1/- green and 3 x 4d vermilion, some Stationery envelopes etc. Condition a little mixed in places but a most attractive 'original' collection. £800-950
