Eureka (France) Simca Pedal Car. Circa 1975. Pressed steel body finished in powder blue with cream seat and steering wheel. Solid rubber black tyres on cream and chrome wheels. Features adjustable seat, opening boot, horn, detachable windscreen, retractable aerial and electric lights. This car is understood to be unmarketed bankrupt stock from the factory. Provenance: sold by Sotheby's in 1988 as part of the Shaun Magee Collection of Pedal Cars (catalogue included in lot). Length 43.5"/110.5cm. Some signs of playwear including scuffs and scratches to exposed edges, some surface corrosion to front of car, one headlight lens missing and one windscreen pillar missing. Generally Good. £300-£500

Pedal Driven Racing Car. Superbly hand crafted in steel and finished in white with green racing stripe and green cast metal wheels with rubber pneumatic tyres. Padded green leatherette seat and black steering wheel. Chrome radiator grille. Length 56"/142cm. Together with a solidly made green steel display stand. This is a prototype made by Naylor Brothers Restorations some years ago. It was based on a 1949 Secar made by a company in Slough of which only about ten were made. However, this car did not go into production and hence this example is unique. £600-£800

The tea pot and coffee pot in insulated metal covers with metal tray, jug, sugar bowl and tea strainer.
