Volume 1 features 16 QV Cape of Good Hope issues with various Basutoland postmarks, noted Mafeteng, Mohaleshoek, Morija, Teyateyaneng and Leribe, also various Maseru [incl on 5 Ed VII]. There are 7 covers from this period incl Morija to France, 11/2d Stationery card from Leribe to Alsace and to Boer War POW Camps in St. Helena and Ceylon. The GV period incl mint 1933 issues with the different printings [incl 2 each of the 2/6d to 10/-], covers incl fine mixed frankings, Airs and First Flights, 1934 Royal Visit etc, plus some postcards. Similar coverage follows for the GVI period, incl 3 different printings of the 1938 set and useful covers. QEII includes specialised treatment of the definitive issues with the different surcharge types [noted 1961 10c and 25c type 2, plus the 3 x 1r] with small varieties highlighted.
