| Stone 2A | When Hillman came to make the printing of October 1855 he corrected the "inverted frame" varieties. The four impressions were removed from the printing stone and replaced by four impressions from a transfer from the intermediate stone. Nos. 31, 32, 33 and 26 of the intermediate stone were used to replace Nos. 141, 146, 151 and 156 respectively and produce Printing Stone 2A. All four impressions are out of alignment and in two instances, Nos. 146 and 151, portion of the original impression was not completely removed and can still be seen.

| 1854-55 One Shilling Brown | This value, like the 4d., was produced by lithography and was made up from positions [10-234] which incidentally contained the two re-entries, [170] and [171], of the 1d. value repeated four times to make up a sheet of 240. Only the swan portion of the design was used, the oval frame with blank corners being added later. There were four printings of the 1/- value, July 1854, January 1855, October 1855 and November-December 1855. It is considered that the salmon and red-brown shades from the first printing, the grey-brown shades from the second printing, the pale brown shades from the last two printings.
