LARGE 1960'S POTTERY DISH - FLEET BUILDING, LONDON an interesting heavily potted pottery dish, marked Fleet Building 1961, and with a variety of graphic designs. The dish marked underneath, DA monogram. Also with a large Alan Caiger-Smith teapot (spot chipped). Dish 20ins. (51cms.) by 18ins. (46cms.) across *The Fleet building in Farringdon, London, was purpose built and completed in 1960 to house the then Central Telegraph Office. It later became British Telecom and was in operation until 2006. This dish was presumably made to commemorate this building being built and the symbols on the dish presumably relate to communications. (2) £80-120
