| S.S. Great Britain | The S.S. Great Britain, designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunell, made her maiden voyage in July 1845 and until 1854 was the largest passenger ship in the world. In 1884 she was retired to the Falkland Islands and was used as a warehouse, quarantine ship and coal hulk before being scuttled in 1937.
