Bank of Montreal, a sheet showing several printers archival photographs of designs for $5, 1 January 1904, two obverses with very different designs, and one reverse, with additional paper sections demonstrating the colours of the paper and printing (not listed, Pick S533 issued instead), this is a very interesting sheet because it shows that B&W Co. were probably bidding for the Bank of Montreal contract to print the 1904 series. This was actually given to the ABNC, who printed the notes until 1923. A unique record and a lovely original item in its intact state (3) £400-600
