Carton COMMONWEALTH (Photo) (plate 2) 1937/51 'The King George VI Collection' of mint issues neatly presented in 5 Deluxe albums in carton. Comprises the vast majority of the basic sets, with the 1938 issues [incl the better Bahrain, Bermuda, Falklands, HK, Perak, New Hebs, N. Rhodesia, Seychelles etc], with other highlights incl 1937 Aden Dhow set to 10r, India 1937, Gandhi and 1949, Ireland 1937 St. Patrick, Kuwait 1939, 1937 Straits, Kedah and Kelantan ['Chef's hat to $5], Trengannu $5 Script SG 44, 1937 New Guinea Airmails to £1, North Borneo 1939 and 1945, Sarawak 1945 BMA and Sudan 1941 set. Album COMMONWEALTH Extensive stock arranged by country from 'M' [Mauritius] to 'S' [Sierra Leone] on Hagners in large binder, mostly QV to GV period both mint and used with light duplication in places. Better areas incl Mauritius, Rhodesia and Seychelles and while there are plenty of better items, the strength is in lower to middle priced material with condition a little mixed in places. A very useful stock, priced for retail sale at around £20,000 £6000-7000

Album COMMONWEALTH 1937/52 GVI collection in printed SG 'Crown' album, mostly fine used [there are some mint here and there but the sets are not mixed]. Plenty of the 1st defin 1938 sets incl Ascension [with some perfs], Bahamas, Bahrain, Bechuanaland, Bermuda, Burma and HK, also Aden 1937 to 5r, Solomon Is. Dues, several Malaysia sets to $5 [also Kedah 1937 to $2], North Borneo 1950, 1947 Pakistan, 1950 Somalia, 1942 Tonga and some NZ Postal Fiscals. The mint incl Canada, of note 1949 OHMS set, Australia incl BCOF, GB and Morocco Agencies. A fine, clean lot, (which has additionally been priced for resale at total £11,000 - used at 55% mint at 40%) with a total catalogue of around £22,000. £4000-5000

Album ALL WORLD (Photo) (plate 3) 1840/1936 collection of foreign countries in 2 printed Ideal albums, typically with the earlier material used and later mint. Some areas a little sparse [South America, Asia etc], strong in Western Europe, in particular Belgium, Germany [and some States], Denmark, France and Netherlands with excellent Austria and Switzerland. Also well represented are Bulgaria, Hungary, Finland, Norway and Sweden, very nice Romania, with a little Russia, Japan etc. A fine, clean, original collection. £3000-3500
