On the 7th April 1937 a series of proofs/designs were sent to the Currency Board in Palestine for approval. The proofs were discussed on April 19th and June 21st where a decision was taken to produce alternative designs (British Library C.S.B. 117/5 1937 volume). This series never adopted, this is the Dabbah plate note. Ink date '7.4.37' in low left margin, uncirculated and of the highest rarity £30,000-35,000 |

No issued notes are believed extant for the issue of 1942 and most interestingly no other issue has the same combination of signatories. The note is signed by E.B.
