The jars are hand blown and mostly with their labels intact. They include, 39 jars of 41cms high (R Sarzae, R Kramer, P Boracls, Tapioca, C Quercus, R Valerian, C Limonis, R Scillae etc). 10 jars of 28cms high (Jalape, Tr Tann Fruct etc), 30 jars of 24cms high, 51 jars of 21cms high. | ARCHIVE RELATING TO EDNA THORNTON - AUTOGRAPHS an interesting archive, including an autograph book from the 1910's/20's (various actors and singers of the day), a letter from Downing Street (signed by Elizabeth Asquith), a letter from Marlborough House, Pall Mall, from E W Wallington on behalf of the Prince & Princess of Wales (Wallington was Groom to the Bed Chamber of the Prince of Wales, later King George, and also became Queen Mary's private secretary).
