CASED DEANE & ADAMS PERCUSSION REVOLVER. A 50 caliber Deane, Adams & Deane percussion revolver with label for 30 King William Street, London Bridge inside the lid. Adams Patent No 9321R, enscribed on the frame, Deane, Adams & Deane 30 K William St, London Bridge on the 7.5" barrel. Much of the original blueing remains on the barrel and frame, light surface rust to the cylinder finish. Again the chamber is marked 9321R, the butt with chequered grip. Bullet mould, wad cutter, and nipple key also cleaning rod are in the case. See Illustration. £800-1000

A 19thC CONTINENTAL CAVALRY SWORD. A Norwegian troopers cavalry sword with steel voided hilt, steel scabbard and plain wooden grip. 35.75" single-edged curved blade, marked with a crown over XV and crown over K 1860. K stands for Kongsberg Arsenal. £80-100

A GERMAN 1860 FUSILIER PATTERN BAYONET. A brass hilted 1860 Fusilier pattern bayonet with brass mounted leather scabbard. Maker Horster of Soilngen with various stamps and markings and cancellations to the 19.5" pipe back blade. IWD and crown over FW 61 are among the markings. £100-150

Fitted with a silencer and telescope, many original receipts are present for the rifle and parts added later. A TWO HANDED TOWN SWORD. A large two-handed Town Sword with armourers mark to the 52.75" double-edged blade, with a running fox design. The hilt with steel ball pommel and replacement leather grip (many years ago) suffering from woodworm damage. The 21" hilt to the wrought iron scrolls of the guard. The quillions measure 16" from tip to tip, having six ring scroll decorations and four more on the hilt ring guards. The blade has two short and one half length single fullers, below which is the unidentified German Armourers mark. See Illustration. £1700-2200

AN OFFICERS SWORD. An 1897 pattern officers sword, complete with scabbard. Made by Henry Wilkinson number 55509, with black leather and metal scabbard. Clean 32.5" blade with GRI cypher amid foilage. £100-150

A NAVAL OFFICERS SWORD & WAISTBELT. A Victorian Naval Officers sword, scabbard, carrycase and KC waistbelt. The well polished slightly curved 29" blade with partial swordknot, has the name E A Rushton on the guard. Vice Admiral E A Astler-Rushton CB. CMG. was killed in a car accident in July 1935. He was in command when the Cruiser HMS Southampton became the first ship to sink a Submarine with gunfire. He commanded the 1931 2nd Cruiser Squadron the first to visit German Waters since the Gt War. In Command of the Reserve Fleet, he dined with the King on the Tuesday before his fatal motor accident, on the Thursday following. £250-350

A CORONATION STAFF. A 1953 Coronation Staff in Red & Gold, carried by a senior Military Officer during the ceremony. Some 21" overall length with 3.5" red bands on each end. A crown over QEII is on one end, the centre section in gold. Some chipping and scratch marks to the paint is evident. £150-200

AN EARLY OFFICERS 'WILKINSON' SWORD. An officers sword by Henry Wilkinson. Pall Mall. London. Numbered 7315 on the backedge. Brass hilt and scabbard, with folding guard and sword knot attached. 32.5" heavy blade with foilage and VR under a radiant crown. 2/3rds fuller and a clean blade showing very little rusting or staining, slight nicks to the front edge in places. Some dents to the brass scabbard, fitted with two hanging loops. See Illustration £180-220
