The son of Mr C Rickman of Winchester and husband of Bridget Rickman of Westminster London (aged 28). 6484 Pte T Rickman's Distinguished Conduct Medal awarded 1/4/1915. For Gallant conduct and ability between 27th October & 11th November 1914, north of the Menin Rd, where he carried out reconnaissance duties at great risk, and obtained much valuable information, relative to the enemy's positions. £70-100

Basil M Fuller was commissioned from the R.Fusiliers into the RNVR, later working in the War Department until his retirement in 1961. He was residing in Warminster Wiltshire at that time. Framed photographs of him in uniform and loose photographs of his later life etc, are with the lot.
