COVER; 3 Aug. 1852 mourning env. to Edinburgh franked by a fine 4m 1d Red (TI) tied by a fine Greenock "163" Numeral with a very fine blue "MILLPORT" UDC nicely placed on the side-flap (opened out for display). Rare early marking from this tiny island (it was the first mark used there - issued in 1849 - and 1852 is the earliest usage recorded by Mackay) . Superb item of Exhibition Quality.
