| 2inch scale live steam Clayton Undertype Wagon, 37ins long. Ned Prentice, a Westland Helicopters engineer, constructed the majority of this stunning model between 1978 & 2007 but sadly died before its ultimate completion. Constructed from Model Engineer published plans by Robin Dyer and finished by experienced model engineer Ron Page and Master Furniture Maker Bill Lush who manufactured the packing crates. This is a highly detailed and well constructed model that is finished to a very high standard indeed and would grace the finest collection. The vendor advised us that there are no gaskets fitted to the inlet and outlet of the boiler. Offered for sale with copies of the plans, a quantity of Model Engineer magazines and photo's of the Clayton during construction. |

| Approx 1ins scale live steam 'Minnie' convertible in Road Roller guise, awarded the Silver Medal at the 1993/4 Olympia Model Exhibition. The model is of a very high standard indeed with fine detailing throughout and is offered for sale with the Silver Medal and associated Certificate of Merit. Complete with a set of wheels, spoked flywheel and axle to turn it into its traction engine guise which are housed in a drawer of its purpose built, and very fine, mahogany display cabinet. Manufacturered over a 10 year period by Ned Prentice a retired Westland Helicopters engineer, a truly outstanding model that has various reciepts and a letter from one of the judges included in the sale. |
