Andre Citroen large tinplate clockwork Citroen Torpedo circa 1924 - scarce promotional model car produced at the Citroen factory in the 1920's, a rare example, 15"/38cm long. The model is black, with pressed wheels, steering to front axle through steering wheel, includes both headlamps, radiator grille, upright windscreen with clear plastic panel, front winding handle, folded rear hood and printed paper numberplates to front and rear, together with a rear mounted spare wheel. The clockwork motor is in working order with operating brake lever. There is some age wear to the black paintwork and the front left-hand wing seam is loose but the model does include the original serrated aluminium running boards - Fair to Good overall for display. £1200-£1500

Bing (Germany) large tinplate clockwork Open Tourer - scarce example is dark green, with black trim and running boards, grey uniformed chauffeur figure, bright plated hubs with rubber tyres including rear mounted spare, substantial clockwork motor in working order with brake and steerable front wheels. There is a opening tool box to the right-hand running board, some light play wear and the front left-hand headlamp is detached but present (comes in a separate bag together with a key) otherwise a Good Plus example (some of the rubber tyres have slight flat spots), 12"/31cm long. £500-£700
