Rare, about 44 letters carried £120-150 Note: Imperial Airways opened their London to Karachi service on March 30th 1929. Mail from Sarawak was carried for the first time in September 1929. The airmail fee was 35 cents per 1/2 ounce in addition to the surface rate of 6 cents plus a registration fee of 15 cents. |
