An early 20th Century Naval Officer's sword, probably Turkish, by Luigi Gazzan & Fils, the 31 1/2in. (80cms) curved and part fullered blade etched, also stamped at the bottom 'Archak' and named to back of blade, the hilt with brass hinged thumb guard, bow knuckle guard decorated with an anchor, ivory grip (missing most wire binding), lion mask pommel, engraved brass and leather scabbard, 37 1/2in. (95cms) overall.

(45cms); and later leather scabbard.Note: There is remnants of guiding to the bottom of the one side of the blade which looks like 'WIII' which could have ties to William of Orange, King at the time of manufacturer.

(5.5cms) octagonal damascus barrel with engraved rim, engraved foliate scrolls to lockplates and dolphin shaped hammer, engraved 'Edge Manchester' above, the walnut bag grip chequered, 6 3/4in. (17cms) overall.
Note: James William Edge is recorded in Manchester between 1827-64.

A mid 19th Century over and under double barrelled percussion pistol, by J. Lang, Haymarket, the 54 bore 2in. (5cms) hand turned barrels numbered 2 and 3 and engraved 'Patent London', the lockplates engraved maker's name and foliate scrolls, also mounted with belt clip, dolphin-shaped hammer, safety catch with broken terminal, folding trigger, the walnut bag grip chequered with engraved cap, 5 3/4in. (14.5cms) overall.
Note: Joseph Lang is recorded at 7 Haymarket between 1825-52.
