1857/83 collection of GB used in Malta written up on pages in binder. Particularly fine quality throughout, some 'M' cancels incl 1d red 'star' in strip of 3, also strip of 3 on cover to Genova, 1857 4d and 1857 6d lilac on cover to Amsterdam. Extensive 'A25' cancels incl 1d 'star' strip of 3 on cover to Naples, 1856 1/- [cds] and on cover to Cardiff, 6d deep lilac, a range of 1858 2d plates, 1862 4d in pair plus on cover to Messina [2, one with disinfection slits], 1862 1/-, 1862 3d pale carmine in pair, 1865 3d pl 4 and lovely pairs and singles of 1865 4d vermilion incl 4 x covers. Also noted 10d red brown, 4d sage, 1865 1/- green, 1872 6d buff and 6d grey pl 12 [2, one on piece with 2d blue], 1880 2d x 3 and 2 x 5d and many fine 2 1/2d rosy mauve, 2 1/2d blue and 3d rose plates. 1925 collection of the SG D1/10 Postage Due issue written up on pages in album. There are quantities of each value with its position in the sheet of 42 identified, with 1/2d x 34 [plus a blk of 28], 1d x 35, 1 1/2d x 31, 2d x 29, 2 1/2d x 28, 3d x 29, 4d x 32, 6d x 26, 1/- x 21 and 1/6d x 24. There are other singles from each value, also many 'tete-beche' pairs [incl 1d x 9, 3d x 7 incl in blk of 8 and 4 each of 1/- and 1/6d]. A few used also incl 1d on [non philatelic] FDC.
