x Plate 2, TA, TB, two singles in a lighter shade, close to enormous margins and cancelled by light strikes of orange-red Maltese Cross on entire to Edinburgh with a light strike of 1840 (22 June) Dumfries despatch on the reverse; two vertical filing folds, one affecting TB £200-250

x Plate 5, DC, large to enormous margins all round and tied by two strikes of vermilion-red Maltese Cross on 1840 (26 Nov.) letter to Oxford with a superb strike of framed "posted after/6 oclock at night" in red alongside; faint London despatch and arrival c.d.s. on reverse; also unused 2d.
