A Nymphenburg Porcelain Figure of a Putto as Jupiter, circa 1760, from the set of Ovidian Gods modelled by Franz Anton Bustelli, the loosely draped figure wearing a crown holding a thunderbolt, an eagle beside on a rocky moulded base, incised conjoined 2 and 4 representing Jupiter and impressed shield mark, 11cm high According to the 1760 Inventory of Forms, this series consisted of "26 small figures of deities first quality representing Ovidian Gods".
